Chooda ceremony is one of the Punjabi wedding rituals which holds a special place. Traditionally, it consists of a set of 21 bangles in maroon or red and white or ivory. It is selected for the ceremony by the bride's maternal uncle (mamaji) and aunt (mamiji). It is given as a gift to the bride during the ceremony.
